LEFT Marley now called Merlin was born 29/2/08.
Unfortunately Marleys new owners were unable to keep him so after a bit of juggling he was bought by my son and his family and is now named Merlin. RIGHT Monty, born Feb 29th 08, another of Maisettes pups is having a wonderful time being the near constant companion of Neve.
Neve works very hard training Monty and regularly takes him to training class. She has so far shown him at a couple of Companion Shows where he has been placed and won some rosettes. Montys next best friend besides Neve is a gorgeous sweet Cocker Spaniel called Archie.
Bobby or Robert , Quintrelle Milky Bar Kid, in his prime when he was awarded Best in Show by Martin Freeman at Ilfracome & Dist Canine Society Open Show and now, looking forward to his 15th birthday on October 10th. 2008. Losing his sight, teeth and agility Bob can still make a mad lunge when the biscuit box come out. He will still go for a gentle toddle on his leash and seems to enjoy the company of baby Evie our grand daughter though he is becoming less tolerant of other dogs now. It is an old age thing! Pictured with his daugher Ellie who sadly passed away this year.
RIGHT This young lady is Crystal , Quintrelle Crystal Georget at Faulklea pictured with her Daddy Japser, owned and loved by Gemma of Faulklea Cavaliers. Crystal is a frequent visitor to our house and loves to spend time with her sister Maisette. They used to play the raaaaargh game all the time but they are now more contant to lay together and watch the youngsters making fools of themselves.
Crystal is four and a half now and has amazed us all by having two litters of pups totalling 17 ( 7 then 10 ) Sadly diue to sheer numbers only 14 survived but still an amazing fete for one so small!
Not only is Crystal a good Mama she is also a
LEFT “ Dasher” Quintrelle Comfort and Joy is a very happy son of Stella, living in San Franciso with Jane and earning his biscuits as a therapy dog. What better form of therapy could you ask for than a cuddle with a Cavalier?
ABOVE On the right is Buffys sister Madeline and her house sister Sophie. Madeline lives in the USA and is adored by Nancy Hersch. Very much like her sister to look at , Madelines favourite past time is chasing leaves. I love this picture of the girls together in the snow. It is hard to believe Madeline will be 7 in January.
ABOVE Denny, another of Maisettes leap year babies, the very first dog of Sue and family. I had an email from Sue today and I think the best think I can do is quote it here >>He is so typical of what I have read. He starts at the bottom of the bed, makes his way up, till his head is on the pillow and his whiskers are tickling your face<<<
That made my day! Cavaliers always were and always will be creatures of comfort.
