Introducing Mary-Scarlett, otherwise known as Steves baby, Mary and Scarlett.
Scarlett was born on Christmas Day so Steve decided to call her Mary. As I sat up through the night awaiting her arrival I watched my favourite film Gone With The Wind so it seemed only natural that the only girl should be called Scarlett. We never could agree which name she should have so she has always answered to both!
Scarlett is very petite, is the daughter of RubyShoos, and is thus a pup from our first whole colour litter. She is spoilt, indulged and allowed to get away with anything, but she is also a very pretty, very game little dog who can run like the wind, swim like a fish and fetches sticks faster and better than many dogs twice her size.
Although Scarlet does a lot of winning at the shows, she has many Best of Breeds and group placings, I do not show her very often as she tends to be more reserved than what I like in the ring. It is no hardship to her to be left home when I am at the shows, she will more than like be out and about with “Daddy” on his bike and sharing morsels of his dinner!
On September 15th 2008 Scarlett blessed us with a beautiful litter of 4 puppies out of Salsara Sweet Pickle at Manaking, a lovely ruby boy who is a son of Campanards Tribute to Sorata, a Swedish Imported Cavalier. To see how her babies fared click Pickle Poppys page
